20 Pop Songs that Will Leave You Feeling Empowered

December 30, 2017 by Amy Darcy55 Comments

Whether you’re going for a job interview, feeling down, or just needing some motivation to either get through that to-do list or get your butt to the gym, these songs will have you singing, dancing and feeling empowered in no time. I’ve created a playlist entitled ‘I’VE GOT THIS’ & included it in the post so you can just hit play when you need to feel empowered to take on the world. There’s probably a lot of other songs that have great beats which would also motivate you but I tried to choose songs that are more than just a man singing about how much a girl in the club wants to have sex with him. Let’s face it, there’s enough of that rubbish in the world as it is. This one I’ve really tried to make it something that will make you feel strong and like you can do anything! Most of them are pop songs we know and love but there’s a few from smaller artists which you may not have heard before but I know you’ll love! I’ve also got a pair of BlueAnt Wireless Earbuds valued at $169.95 to giveaway for one lucky reader to enjoy listening to all their favourite tunes on.

These are some of my favourite pop song’s that inspire and empower me to to feel on top of the world. Have a listen by the Spotify playlist below and I dare you not to dance along. I guarantee it’s almost impossible! Have fun!

  1. Katy Perry’s ROAR

‘I got the eye of the tiger, a fighter

            Dancing through the fire

‘Cause I am the champion, and you’re gonna hear me roar’

  1. Shania Twain’s MAN! I FEEL LIKE A WOMAN!

‘Oh, oh, oh, I wanna be free, yeah, to feel the way I feel

Man! I feel like a woman!’

‘Baby, I’m just gonna shake, shake, shake, shake, shake

I shake it off, I shake it off’

  1. Beyonce’s RUN THE WORLD (GIRLS)

‘Boy I know you love it

How we’re smart enough to make these millions

Strong enough to bear the children

            Then get back to business’

  1. Five’s EVERYBODY GET UP

            ‘Everybody get up singing

  1. Natasha Bedingfield’s UNWRITTEN

            ‘Say what you wanna say

And let the words fall out

‘No, I don’t want no scrub

A scrub is a guy that can’t get no love from me

            Of his best friend’s ride

            Trying to holla at me’

  1. Destiny’s Child’s SURVIVOR

And delivers me to a destiny, to infinity and beyond’
